Andrea "Andi" Green, age 66, of Smokerise, passed away suddenly at UAB Gardendale on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Andi was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family with all her heart. She was known for her peanut butter fudge and apple cake. No matter what she was going through herself, she was always willing to help others in their time of need. Andi was preceded in death by her parents, James "Jim" Weldon and Myrtle Weldon-Mitchell; son, Matthew "Matt" Green; sister, Linda Weldon; and sister-in-law, Marlene Brown. She is survived by her husband, Larry Green; son, Luke Green (Staci); daughter-in-law, Monica Green; brothers, Steve Weldon (Cookie) and Scott Weldon (Terri); brother-in-law, Norman Green (Dianne); and grandchildren, James "Jimbo" Green, Andrew Green, Crimson Green, Selah Green, Emma Green, Ethan Green and Channah Green. A visitation for Andi will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be in the Messmer Goodwin Chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, followed by interment at Valley Springs Cemetery (Good Hope, Cullman County).
