Annie Mae Doss, age 94, of Warrior, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Ann was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She was passionate about gardening and proud of her beautiful flowers. She especially loved traveling and going out dancing with her husband, Marshall. Ann was also a woman of faith, and regularly attended service at Stewart's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Marshall Loyd Doss; parents, Samuel Pete and Lucille Harp McLendon; and siblings, Mary McLendon Mason, Samuel Pete McLendon, Jr., Sarah Mason Wesley, Betty McLendon Tisdale, Jean McLendon Robinson, Idelle McLendon Floyd, Paul McLendon, Frank McLendon, and Seldon Robert McLendon. She is survived by her children, Phillip M. Doss and Paula Segan (John); granddaughter, Sarah Hyland; sister, Peggy Franklin, Carole Olive Popee; as well as her special caretaker, her niece, Jennifer Tisdale Phillips.

A visitation for Mrs. Doss will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home the evening of Thursday, April 25, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Prior to interment the following day, Friday, April 26, there will be a graveside service at Stewart's Chapel Cemetery, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
