Arnold Swann (1945-2023) loving husband, father, brother veteran (USN), and fan of Westerns, American sports, and well-timed jokes passed away in his sleep in the early hours of Friday, March 10th. He is survived by his wife, Rita Swann; daughters, Monica Hamrick (husband, Mark and daughter, Magan, and extended family) and Vickie Swann (husband, James Mattiace); siblings, Frankie Love, Dale Swann, Terry Swann, Donald Swann, and Joyce Swann; and many additional family and friends. A visitation for Mr. Swann will be held at Empire Church of God on Thursday, March 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 12:30 p.m. Bro. Bruce Levan will officiate. Interment to follow at the church's adjoining cemetery, Empire Memorial Gardens.
