Barbara Mahaffey Miller went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at age 69.  She is survived by her loving husband of almost 54 years, Jerry Miller; three children, Tammy Bradley (Brian), Chasity Hyche (Dale), and Norman Miller (Brittney); four grandchildren, Brandon Miller, Andrew Hyche, Alex Hyche, and Ava Miller; one brother, Raymond Mahaffey (Regina); two sisters, Betty Wadsworth (Larry) and Martha Hogan (Terry); brother-in-law, Harlan Miller (Diane); sister-in-law, Emma Miller; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Mahaffey and Patsy Mahaffey Moore; her stepdad, Charles Moore; two infant brothers, Ronald and Donald Mahaffey.  She was affectionately known as "Nana" to not only her grandchildren, but to all the children she met.  Barbara was the sweetest and most kind person you would ever meet.  She will be missed by all who knew her.  Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m.  Burial will be at Liberty Minter Cemetery.
