Barbara Ann Goodwin Mitchell, born in Bradford, Alabama, died peacefully in her home on September 26, 2020 at the age of 68.

Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved hummingbirds, listening to bluegrass and gospel music, and watching her television shows. She was known for her great cooking, especially her banana pudding and potato salad.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 50 years Glyn Mitchell; her children: Kristie Vandergriff, Angela Mitchell, and Loretta (Philip) Fritts; and her grandchildren: Julie Vandergriff and Glyn Vandergriff.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents: Edward "Pud" and Velma Goodwin.

As a memorial will not be given, we ask that you remember the great times with Barbara and keep her in your heart.
