Barbara "Barbie" Marie Ferino Atchley was born on June 11, 1975 in Birmingham, Alabama. She passed away Thursday April 6, 2023 at the age of 47.

Barbie was a resident of Trafford, AL where she raised her children and many other children in her family. She was everyone's favorite aunt, all the children loved being with aunt Barbie. She was dedicated to her family in every way and was there anytime they needed her. She was a confidant to many and gave the best advice. She told you the good, bad and ugly with the sweetest love. She was so accepting of all people. She treasured her husband, children, sister, niece and nephews.

Barbie was preceded in death by her parents, Salvadore J. Ferino and Barbara Ramey Ferino. She is survived by her loving family: Husband, Donny Joe Atchley; Daughter, Hope Atchley; Son, Austin Atchley; Sister, Patti Martin (Mark); Niece, Mallory Martin; Great-Nephew, Joseph and many other little loves and extended family. Barbie was a friend to all and leaves behind many friends.

A visitation for Barbie will be held at Massey Line Church of God on Monday, April 10, and the family will receive guests from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm that evening. The funeral service will be held the following day, beginning at 11:00 a.m., also at Massey Line COG. Bro. Benny Johnson and Pat Canada will be officiating. Interment to follow at the church's adjoining cemetery, Massey Line Cemetery.
