On Thursday, November 23, 2023, Benny Ray Rooker, age 62, of Hayden, Alabama, left his earthly home and went to be with the Lord  in his Heavenly home. Benny was preceded in death by his parents, William & Wanda Rooker; and his sister, Paula Brown.
He is survived by his siblings: sister, Theresa Johnson (Donnie Collins), and brothers, Mike (Sissy) Rooker, Ralph (Karen) Rooker; and Hoyett Rooker; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation for Benny will be held at Messmer Goodwin on Monday, November 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Ware Shipp Family Cemetery.
