Betty Louise Reno of Warrior, Ala. passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the age of 68. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her family unconditionally. She was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church.

Betty was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlie and Martha Gilland; parents, Latrell McAnnelly and Nellie Jean Robinson; husband, John D. Reno; son, Johnny "Big John" Reno; uncles, James L Gilland, John "Brownie" Gilland and Charles Edward Gilland; and cousin, Michael "Old Dude" Gilland. She is survived by her son, Charles Reno (April); grandchildren, Tonya and Brian Reno; siblings, Mary Gravely (Dave), Sheila Wells (Guy) and Anthony Mundi (Barbara); niece, Lisa Ford (Eric); cousins, Wayne Giles (Ann), Leslie Giles (Dusty) and Richard Bowman (Jess); two special sons, Hunter Uptain and Jacob Myrick; as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews and close friends, all of whom Betty loved dearly. She is deeply loved and so greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A closed casket visitation for Betty will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 10:30 a.m. Immediately following the funeral service, everyone will travel of their own accord to Stewart's Chapel Cemetery, where we will all reconvene graveside for a brief committal service prior to interment.
