Bobbie Lucille Hopper Wooten went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at age 85. She is survived by five children, Michael Wooten, Melinda Porter (Paul), Tammy Calvert (Cecil), Timothy Wooten (Anne) and Jeff Easter; seven grandchildren, Candace Marsh (Jimmy), Rebecca Austin (David), Madeline Mewbourne (Chris), Jacob Calvert (Lauren), Cole Wooten, Allyson Wooten, and Alyssa Wooten; six great grandchildren, Haley Fields (Ben), Carlin Austin, Kaitlin Lucado, Cora Austin, Natalie Lucado and Memphis Kaine Mewbourne; one sister, Julia Jacks; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Sam "Jug" and Nora Hopper; two sisters, Jeanette Cagle and Elizabeth Hopper; two brothers, Sam Hopper and Wallace Hopper. While she was best known as "Miss Pasquale" after working many years as manager of Pasquale's in Fultondale, she retired from Norwood Clinic in Medical Records. She was a member of Kimberly Church of God for many years. Her greatest joy was keeping her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were the light of her life. She loved cooking and sharing her food with everyone especially her authentic German Christmas fruit cake, the secret recipe for which has been in her family since at least 1872. A graveside service will be held at Elvester Cemetery on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 1:30 p.m.
