MSgt. Bobby Ray Creel was born in Arkadelphia, Alabama on July 26, 1936, and passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the age of 90. Bobby served in the United States Air Force for 23 years, in both the Korean and Vietnam wars. After retiring from service, he made a career as a mechanic and then a service manager for Serra Automotive. This he did for another 45 years before "officially" retiring, again!

Bobby was preceded in death by his crappie-fishing and jet-setting wife of 62 years, Elizabeth Creel. He loved to take her everywhere and she loved going with him. Fishing or traveling or just for leisurely rides. 

He is survived by his children, Debra Fields (Jimmy), Bonita Creel and Aldo Creel (Theresa); grandchildren, Stephanie Wingard (Chad), Danielle Liddy (Joe) and Ethan Creel (Emma); great-grandchildren, John Parker Wingard and Greer Wingard; as well as a host of extended family and dear friends who all love, respect and miss him greatly.

A visitation will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Monday, September 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Immediately following the visitation time, everyone will travel of their own accord to Elvester Cemetery. We will all reconvene graveside at 11:30 a.m. for the funeral service and the presentation of military funeral honors conducted by the United States Air Force Guardsmen.
