Bonnie O. Palmer, 82, Warrior, AL, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James M. Palmer, daughter, Tammy Palmer and son-in-law, Derick C. Posey.  Six brothers, Ross, Thomas, John F., Robert, William "Bill" and Jim Bibb and three sisters, Evelyn Joiner, Katherine Gill, and Linda Reichmann.

She is survived by two daughters, Kelly Palmer Barnes and Sheila Palmer Posey and one son, James M. Palmer, Jr.(Elizabeth).  Five grandchildren, Haley Barnes, Andy and Mitch Posey and Madison and Zachary Palmer.  One nephew, Butch Bradford (Morgan) and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Bonnie was a lifetime resident of Warrior and a 1960 graduate ofWarrior High School.  She was a lifelong member of Elvester Baptist Church.  Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed cooking, reading her Bible and cookbooks and her happy place was her rose garden.  She was a devoted wife for 58 plus years, a loving mother, grandmother and faithful friend.  Bonnie will be truly missed.

There will be a graveside service at Elvester Cemetery Monday, June 24, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
