Alma "Boots" Jean Jones, age 92, of Warrior, AL, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023.

For 64 years, Boots and her husband, George, owned and operated Jones Cleaners, a dry cleaning company located in Warrior. There she made many friends and did alterations for many customers. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Boots was preceded in death by her loving husband, George W. Jones, and great-grandson, Joshua Davis.

She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda (Jerry) Davis and Frankie Brown; granddaughters,, Shannon Brown, Sonya (Rick) Glaze, Kerri Davis, Krystal (Andrew) Morgan; great-grandchildren, Ryan Glaze, Rebecca Glaze, Kaylan Miller, Tanner Bailey, Kylee Duren and Layla Brown; great-great-grandchildren, Joshua Glaze and Kyla Glaze; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Boots will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Thursday, May 4, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m. Bro. Gary Creel will be officiating. Interment to follow at Cane Creek Cemetery.
