Brandon Daniel Shipp, 42, passed away unexpectedly on December 10, 2022.

Brandon was loved by his family so very much! He enjoyed playing football and also loved Auburn football. Animals were drawn to Brandon because he cared for and nurtured them. He especially loved his Australian shepherd, Merlin. He took in a female cat who shortly after had kittens. He took in every stray animal that showed up and gave them a home.

Brandon was a sweet and kind person, and intelligent too. His life ended way too short. He could have done anything he put his mind to. His last words to me were, "I love you and I will see you in Heaven." He is with Jesus now, and in no more pain. Brandon will be missed terribly.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Audrey Shipp, Ezell and Almas Uptain, Roland and Fadie Lee Burns; uncles, Larry Shipp, and Jimmy Burns.

Brandon is survived by father, Leslie Shipp; mother and step-father, Shelia and David Holcomb; step-sister, Amanda Jones (Darrell); step-brother, Aaron Holcomb (Kristen); uncle, Lionel Shipp; aunt, Mary Murphree; nephews, a multitude of cousins, and a host of other family.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 13. 2022 at Mt. View Baptist Cemetery at 1:00pm.
