Brenda Joyce Bridges, age 76, of Warrior, Ala. passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Brenda was born on May 24, 1948, to parents Bud and Earlene Howse. She graduated from Woodlawn High School, and went on to work at Alabev for 28 years. She was a faithful member of Patridge Crossroads Baptist Church. She was also a big Alabama Crimson Tide fan, and loyal to the core. Brenda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In July of 2025, Brenda and Ronnie would have celebrated 52 years of marriage. But it was her granddaughters, Brooklyn and Chloe, who were the true loves of Brenda's life. Brenda was a friend to everyone she met, and a blessing to all.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, A.L. "Bud" Howse and Earlene Shadix Howse; and her daughter, April Bridges Cave. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Bridges; daughter, Kathryn Johnson (Scott); granddaughters, Brooklyn and Chloe Johnson; brother-in-law, Terry Bridges (Betty); as well as an abundance of nieces and one nephew.

A visitation for Brenda will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Friday, February 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Bro. Tim Blackmon and Rev. Zane Smith will be officiating. Interment to follow immediately after the funeral service, in New Bethel Cemetery.
