Carla Sue Lowe of Hayden, AL gained her wings on Thursday, November 19th 2020, at the age of 50. Carla was a devoted mother, daughter, Nana, and friend. She was a hard worker with a heart full of love and generosity which could be seen in the way she continually served others. Carla was one of a kind, and there are not enough words to express how special she really was. She will be remembered most for her contagious smile, kind spirit, and spunky sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all of the lives that she touched. Carla is preceded in death by her father Jerry Woods. She is survived by her children Kayla Bell (Jeremy), Katie Lowe, and Ryan Lowe; her mother Rebecca Woods; her siblings Carol Wren (Ricky), Barry Woods (Suzie), Leslie Smith (John), and Brannon Woods; sister at heart, Debbie Taft (Jerry); her grandchildren Konner Lowe, Kaybree Lowe, Kaislee Lowe, Bryson Lowe, and Novalee Godfrey; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she loved dearly. Visitation will be Monday, November 23, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at Ricetown Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
