Carolyn Reid Mulvehill, 89, of Hayden, Alabama, passed away on May 16, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Coy Reid and Ruby Manila Walker Reid. She is survived by her children, Randy Thomas (Suzanne) and Ginger Chappell (Billy); grandchildren, Coy (Kristen) Thomas, Hollyn, Branson, and Jensen Chappell; great-granddaughter, Bella Thomas.

Carolyn was born in Hayden, Alabama on August 28, 1933. She has lived in Hayden her entire life. She graduated from Hayden High School and was part of the first cheerleading squad at Hayden High School. Carolyn has always been known as a classic woman in both beauty and style with a quick wit and an independent spirit. Carolyn always loved being outdoors, whether that was gardening, playing with dogs, or watching birds. She loved her house, especially when she was reading her newspaper or cooking for her family. She loved the Lord and always said, "He's just been so good to me," even up until her last days.

Carolyn will be remembered by her family and friends as a woman who loved her family so deeply and who took such great pride in their accomplishments and achievements. They loved her humor and will forever remember the laughs and joy she brought to everyone she met.
