Cephus Collins Wilkie, age 76, of Hayden, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Mr. Wilkie was a Vietnam Veteran who proudly served in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Obley Calvert Wilkie. He is survived by his wife, Sherry A. Wilkie; children, Regina Gill, MaDonna (Dwayne) Owens, Keith Byrd and Dion Byrd; grandchildren and step-grandchildren: Casey (Tara) Russell, Krimson (Jake) McGee, Emily Bailey, Jessica Owens, Jennifer Owens, Michael Owens; 3 great-grandchildren and 9 step-great-grandchildren; sister, Thelma (Bill) Funk; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mr. Wilkie will beheld at Damascus Missionary Baptist Church (Hwy. 38, Hanceville, AL) April 24, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.
