Charles "Charlie" Nixon Hancock III, 78, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022.

Charlie was born to Daisy and Charles Nixon Hancock II on January 6, 1944 in Florida.

He was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and enjoyed playing the drums.

Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Daisy and Charles and his wife, Sandra Rouse.

He is surivived by his son, Brad Hancock (Tena); daughter, Nicole Glasscock (Justin); grandchildren, Kelsey and Greyson Hancock, Madison and Carter Glasscock; step-daughters, Christy McBrayer and Jennifer Thren; granddaughters, Brittany Thren, Amber McBrayer and Emily McBrayer; one great-granddaughter, many nieces and nephews, as well has his brothers and sisters.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

In Lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to the American Cancer Society in Charlie's name.
