Charmen Renee McAlpine of Hayden, Ala. passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the age of 58.

Charmen was preceded in death by her parents, Patsy and Ronald Lively. She is survived by her husband, Michael McAlpine; children, Courtney Pitts, Jordan Pitts and Ashland McAlpine; her sisters, Tina Washington and Pam Samuels; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Charmen will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 13, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held the following day, also at the funeral home, beginning at 12:00 p.m. Immediately following the funeral service, everyone will travel of their own accord to Bethel United Methodist Cemetery
