Christopher Shane Crocker gained his wings on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at age 34.  He is survived by wife, Tiffany Crocker; children, Haleigh Crocker and Logan Crocker; parents, Carol & Greg Thompson and Roger Crocker; siblings, Jennifer Crocker, Candi Crocker, Casee Crocker Bush, Jeremey Crocker, Patrick Crocker, Brandon Thomas, Dylan Thompson, and Jessica Thompson; grandmother, Bettie Lockhart "Ganna"; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Chris was preceded in death by his stepdad, Dusty Thomas and grandparents, Elmer Lee & Fay Crocker, Percy Lockhart and Jerrell Hammonds, Sr. His favorite scripture was Isaiah 40:30-31 ³⁰ Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. ³¹ But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. He loved his children and his family dearly.  He was an avid Auburn fan and hunter who had a great love for the outdoors.  He will be missed everyday but his family is so thankful he is fully restored now and no longer faces the struggles of this life.  Visitation will be Monday, November 9, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Eagles Wings Ministries, 108 Buckworth Circle, Trafford, AL 35172.
