Mr. Christopher Allen Hocutt, age 42 of Fultondale, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Wyman Hocutt, Sr.; grandparents, James and Myrtle Hocutt, Robert O. and Velma Clay; baby sister, Sharon Hocutt; brother, Wyman Hocutt, Jr. He is survived by his son, Peyton Hocutt; daughters, Aubrie Hocutt and Ella Hocutt; mother, Nancy (Ralph Hayes) Hocutt; brother, Robbie Hocutt; niece, Mya Hocutt

Chris was a hard-working man, spending most of his working years in a steel plant for U.S. Steel. His priority in life was his 3 children. He loved them dearly, along with his mother. He was a good friend, and never minded lending a helping hand. Although he was a quiet man, he was humorous and happy person.

One of his passions was collecting football sports cards. He started as child and continued the hobby into adulthood. He was an enthusiast of all kinds of sports, and this was certainly true of anything with Auburn Athletics. He was definitely a die-hard Auburn Fan!

Chris was loved by his family, and will be missed so much.

There will be a visitation with the family at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home from 11:00 am-12:00 pm. Saturday, May 25, 2025. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 12:00 noon.
