Connie Swearengin
Taylor
Dec 27, 1955 — Sep 19, 2025
Remlap
Connie Swearengin Taylor was born on December 27, 1955, and called home on September 19, 2025. To know her was to feel instantly welcomed — whether you were family, friend, or stranger. Connie lived a life rich in love, laughter, and selfless giving. She was the kind of person who would give you her last dollar, offer a shoulder to cry on, or open her home when you had nowhere else to go. Her love knew no boundaries, and she carried that love into every room, every relationship, and every part of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Beasley; two sisters, Sharon Ingram and Annette Kelley; her brother, John Wayne Beasley; daughters, Connie Ward and Crystal Wilbert as well as many others she loved dearly. Connie is survived by her sister, Linda Chaney; brother, David Beasley (Karen); children, Tileatha Busby (Daniel), Kimberly Garner (Billy), and Matthew Russell (Amy); and a host of grandchildren (17), great-grandchildren (13), nieces, nephews, and chosen family who will strive to continue her legacy of kindness.
Services will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Messmer Goodwin Chapel in Warrior, AL, with viewing from 2:30-4, and service to follow, with Pastor David Beasley officiating.
We will miss her fiercely, but we carry her spirit with us — in how we treat others, in how we love, and in how we show up for one another.
