Craig Madison Grooms, age 52, of Warrior, AL, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Craig was a loving father, son, brother and uncle. Jennifer was the love of his life since they were in high school. He loved Alabama football. He worked as an iron worker for 30+ years, and was a part of the Iron Workers Local Union No. 92. He always said he could out-weld anybody, and as a Jack of all trades he could fix anything. Craig loved, lived and worked hard. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Craig was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Cain Grooms. He is survived by his daughters, Kelsey Nicole Grooms, Destiny Kala Grooms, and Madison Noel Grooms; father, Ray E. Grooms Sr.; brother, Ray E. Grooms Jr.; sister, Christie Grooms Forsyth (Mike); and nieces and nephews, Justin Ray Grooms, Rachel Leann Grooms (Lori), Katelyn Marie Cowie, Jenny Burttram (Adam), and John Michael Forsyth. A visitation for Craig will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 15, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with funeral service beginning at 6:00 p.m. The committal service will be held privately.
