Dale Robert Armstrong passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at age 55. He is survived by one daughter, Shelby Armstrong; his parents, Lawrence and Bama Armstrong; one brother, Gary Armstrong (Wanda); one sister, Yvonne Russell (Robby); several nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his grandparents, Curtis & Retha Deason and Lewis & Grace Armstrong and one niece, Sandy Rhoad. Dale worked for many years at UAB in the maintenance department. He loved the outdoors where he loved to fish. He was an avid gardener and could grow cactus with blooms that were gorgeous. Visitation will be Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home. Burial will be at High Rock Cemetery in Blount County.
