Darlene Tolbert, age 56, of Birmingham, Alabama, left her worldly life for her heavenly, eternal life March 26, 2022. Darlene was preceded in death by her father and mother, Arlon and Flora Mae Little; brothers, Don and Billy Little; She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Whorthy; sons, Johnny (Teena) Smith, and Steven Smith; grandsons, David, Jordan, Lexus, and Brayden Smith; brothers, David, Terry, Thomas, and Mark Little. Darlene loved her family and friends, and was always willing to help and look after others. Her grandkids meant the world to her. She enjoyed sitting on a river bank for a day of fishing, or just enjoying the water and tranquility. Darlene loved beautiful flowers and plants. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. A visitation will be held in the chapel from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022, with a funeral service following at 2:00 p.m.
