Darryl D. Maddox, 77, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019 in Birmingham, AL.

Darryl was a family man, spent most of his time working in coffee sales and truly enjoyed his banana splits.

He is preceded by his wife, Glenda Sue Maddox; son, Scott Maddox and parents, Golden and Meriem Maddox.

Darryl is survived by his sister, Elain Rushing and brother, Thelan Maddox; daughter, Lisa Scruggs; three grandchildren, Tristen, Keaten and Ashton Scruggs and two great grandchildren, Sadie and Jaxen Scruggs.

A visitation will be on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home from 11:00am to 12:00pm with a funeral service at 12:00pm.  Burial will immediately follow at Morris Cemetery.
