David Allen "Freebird" Blevins, age 41, of Corner, Alabama, born September 10, 1978, gained his wings on December 17, 2019. He was preceded in death by his dad, Dennis H. Blevins; grandparents, Lawson and Sharon Blevins; grandfather, Bud Campbell; stepdad, Charles Johnson; and his aunt, Linda Freeman. He is survived by his mother, Janice Johnson; grandmother, Rachel Campbell; sisters, Tracy (Phillip) McPherson and Tina Manning; nephews, Shannon McPherson and Christian Manning, all of Corner; aunt and uncle, Patricia and Roger Hall, of Parrish; aunt and uncle, Joan and Don Jay of Dora; uncle, Michael Freeman, Wayne Blevins, and aunt Linda Lane; his cousins, Christy, William, Brian, Angela, Diane, Zondra, Nathan, Melinda, their spouses and kids; numerous "brothers" and "sisters", a host of "nieces" and "nephews" and many, many friends.And if we failed to mention anyone we apologize. A visitation will be held for Mr. Blevins at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Saturday, December 21, from 11:00am- 2:00pm, with funeral service beginning at 2:00pm. Carson McSherdon will be officiating. Burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
