David Loyle Brooks, age 56, of Warrior, Alabama left this world to enter his Heavenly home on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Eulala Kilgore Brooks. He is survived by his loving wife, Kelly Brooks; children, Shelbie Panter, Cody Brooks (Jewel), and Courtney Brooks; grandchildren, Gibson, Wrenly, Kohanim, Natalie, Grayson, Fisher and Cash; special brothers, Michael Northington (Beverley) and Scott Northington (Kelly); his sweet and loyal companion, Babygirl; and his two best friends, David Tucker and Tony Baker.

A celebration of David's life will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Friday, January 24, beginning at 1:00 p.m. A visitation will be held in the funeral home's chapel the evening before, Thursday, January 23. The family will receive guests Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Immediately following the life celebration on Friday, all those who wish to attend the brief committal service prior to interment are asked to reconvene graveside in New Horizon Cemetery. Pastor Robin Bullock will be officiating the celebration of life and committal services.
