David Wayne Peek, age 67, of Maxine, Alabama passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 10, 2024.

David was born to parents Bertis Peek and Judith Barnett in Cullman, Alabama on January 2, 1957. He served in the United States Army, and worked as a truck driver for Associated Grocers of the South before enjoying retirement. David was married to the love of his life, Patricia, for 24 years, and had two children, Christy and Chad, who were truly his pride and joy. He was loved and appreciated by all of his friends and neighbors alike. David will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Bertis S. Peek and Judith Barnett. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Smith Peek; his children, Christy Lynn Peek and Chad Peek; his grandchildren; his brothers Billy, Bertis, and James Peek; his stepmother, Linda Peek; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members, all of whom David loved dearly.
