David Lee Tumblin, age 54, of Warrior, Alabama, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022. On May 29, 1967, David was born to Alfred and Alice Tumblin. His brother, Tim, and sisters Jayce and Denise lived on family farm land. On June 12, 2004, David married the love of his life, Gwen Tumblin. His legacy that he is leaving behind, that has made his life full of love, is his son Adam, and grandkids Cody, Chance, Erik and Taylor. His hobbies consisted of collecting old coins, World War II model planes, tanks, and books. He loved to work outside in the yard and in the shop. David was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Faye Tumblin; grandparents, Ellen Ledlow, R.V. Ledlow, Hubert Tumblin and Emma Tumblin; and Uncle Shorty. He is survived by his loving wife, Gwen Tumblin; son, Adam Tumblin (Anna Kloberdanz); grandchildren Cody Furr, Chance Garner, Erik Tumblin, and Taylor Tumblin; father and stepmother, Alfred and Elaine Tumblin; siblings, Jayce King (Johnnie), Karmen Denise Tumblin (Matt Johnson), and Timothy Tumblin (Jennifer); as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
