Deborah Kuntz Lemley, age 76, of Hayden, Alabama passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024. Deborah was born on November 30, 1947, in New Orleans, LA, where she spent her childhood until she and her family moved to Birmingham, AL. Deborah enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid gardener and cook. Being "Mema" was her proudest achievement.

Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Allen Lemley; parents, Herbert Joseph Kuntz, Sr. and Margaret Hannah Kuntz; brother, Herbert Joseph Kuntz, Jr. (Sherry); and aunt, Edith Elizabeth Singleton.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Elizabeth Burns; granddaughters, Emily Burns Cameron-Morin (Spencer) and Hannah Elizabeth Howell (Craig); great-grandchildren, Amelia Cameron-Morin and William Cameron-Morin; siblings, Susan Kuntz, Michael Kuntz (Sandra), and David Kuntz; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Lemley at Warrior Cemetery on Wednesday, September 11, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow directly after. There will not be a visitation, only the graveside service.
