Deral Dale Slatton passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 28, 2020 at age 25. He is survived by his mother, Michelle Slatton McCurry; brothers, Alex Slatton, Hoyt "Scooter" McCurry, Adam Slatton, Sean Wear, and Mark Wear; one sister, Sarah Slatton; grandprarents, Libby McCurry, Roger Slatton and Sherry Slatton; and a host of other extended family. Deral graduated from Corner High School in 2014. He loved all sports. He was an amazing big brother, nephew and son. He will always be remembered for his smile and hard work. He was a member of Elvester Baptist Church. Visitation will be Friday, October 2, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Elvester Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church and burial to follow in the church cemetery.
