Mr. Donald Eugene Sloan, age 68, of Hayden, Alabama, was called to eternal rest Wednesday, February 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Carlton and JoAnn Sloan. He is survived by his wife, Mary Sloan; son, Ashley Sloan (Kasie); daughter, Misty Sloan; brothers, Jeff Sloan (Trisha); David Sloan (Lisa); granddaughters, Hannah, Summer, Trinity, Payton, Kaylee Jo; grandson, Dustin; great-grandchildren, Cambree, Ashton, Baylon; a host of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home. Funeral service will be in the chapel Friday, February 25, 2022 beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Cane Creek Cemetery, Warrior, Alabama.
