Obituary

Donna (Snow) Shipp, age 67, of Warrior, AL passed away on March 2, 2026. Donna was a loving mom, grandmother and great-grandmother who meant everything to her family. She was kind, caring and full of life. She was strong, the kind of strong that does not quit. Donna was a fighter in every sense of the word. She never gave up, even when she was going through hard times. She faced challenges with grit, faith and laughter. Her faith was an important part of who she was. She lived what she believed by loving, helping others, and standing firm in what mattered most. Donna loved her family fiercely. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. She welcomed everyone and truly never met a stranger. If you walked into her life, you were family. Her heart and often her home were always open. Growing up, she loved playing softball with her sisters. She was competitive, full of fire, and not afraid to get a little dirt on her. And yes, she was not afraid of a boxing match, either, gloves and all. That was Donna. Tough, fearless and ready. She loved fishing and spending time at the beach. She had her own sense of style and carried herself with confidence and strength. To know Donna was to love her. She fought hard, loved deeply, and leaves behind a family forever shaped by her courage and warmth. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Maybell Snow; and siblings, Shirley Cameron and Billy Ray Snow. She is survived by her children, Dana Farnetti, Christopher Martin, and Jennifer Martin; grandchildren, Ashli Whitfield, Michael Whitfield, and Alex Gough; great-grandchildren, Brody Colvin, Isabella Whitfield, Carter Mobley, Kora Phillips and Kai Phillips; and siblings, Junior Snow (Connie), Betty Todd, Judy Wingo, Jewel McLaughlin, Dorothy Brown (Jim), and Patricia Phillips.
