Dontis Lenise Minyard, age 65, of Trafford, AL joined her beloved parents in heaven on May 7, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Almeda Wilson and sister-in-law Marla. Dontis is survived by her husband Gordon of 37 years and brothers Jerald and Warren (Peggy). She will be missed by many extended family members who loved her kind spirit and incredible thoughtfulness. Dontis was a very involved member of Masseyline Church of God for more than 35 years and worked at the Jefferson County Title and Tag office for more than 30 years. She loved to travel and collect things from the various places she visited. She had a passion for people, especially children (and pets). She always remembered others on their birthdays, anniversaries and special days. Heaven's gain is our loss and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A visitation for Dontis will be held at Masseyline Church of God on Wednesday, May 11 ^th from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with funeral service beginning at 12 PM. Interment to follow at Masseyline Cemetery.
