Doris Ann Hill, age 74, of Morris, AL passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Toppy and Nancy Luella Alvis; and son, Bryan Hill. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Frank Hill; daughter, Heather Hill; granddaughter, Chloe Hill-Scoggins; siblings, Teresa (Norman) Bales, Gerald (Ann) Alvis, and Nancy (Larry) Veahman; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews; as well as her church family at Kimberly United Methodist and loving co-workers at Cameilla Medical Group. Her pride and joy was her granddaughter, Chole. She loved going to arts and crafts shows, and she was an avid reader. Every year she got such enjoyment out of decorating her house and yard for the holidays. Her favorite getaway was to Gulf Shores. She was a kind, generous woman who gave selflessly to others and would help anyone in need. A visitation for Doris will be held at Kimberly United Methodist Church on Friday, August 5, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 pm., with funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Larry Sloan to officiate. Interment to follow at Garden City Cemetery.
