Dylan James Kennedy, age 19, of Trafford, Alabama, was called to his heavenly home on August 20, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gordon and Retha Kennedy; cousin, Spencer Kennedy. He is survived by his parents, Scott and Susan Kennedy; brothers. David Kennedy, Devin Kennedy; sister, Kim (Seth Hardy) Kennedy; grandparents, Robert Kilgore, Billy and Brenda Acton; girlfriend, Chelsey Woods, honorary sister, Maddie Lesley; aunts and uncles, Rachel Kilgore, Kristy Miller, Allen Kennedy, Charla Kennedy, Bobby Kilgore; cousins, Emily Ann, Bella, and Rose Miller, Waylon Lumpkin. Dylan was a care free and laid-back person who had a passion for life and laughter.He never met a stranger, and was so full of love. He would talk to or help anybody. He really loved his Jeep and the work he put into it. He really didn't do much outside of work except fishing, off-roading (to fishing spots) and shooting his guns. His biggest accomplishment in his young life was finding the love of his life...he would tell you that himself. Everybody loved Dylan because he was genuine, and his sense of humor. He had the ability to make people laugh and smile when they needed it most. If a room was quiet, he would make some weird noise to get people talking or laughing. One thing he learned from his father, he didn't make friends, he made family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home chapel Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 12:00-2:00 p.m., with funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Liberty Minter Cemetery.
