Ed Booker went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 28, 2020 at age 86. He is survived by two children, Gil Booker (Paula) and Sherri Bartlett (Dale); seven grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; one great great grandson; two sisters, Sandra Davis and Joy Elliott; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family. Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Booker, and his parents, Edgar and Avis Booker. He retired from Jim Walter Coal Mines. He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Alabama Crimson Tide. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Castle Heights Cemetery.
