Ellery Carl Doss, known by his friends and family as Carl, passed peacefully to his eternal home Sunday, April 11, 2021. Carl was a loving father and grandfather to his 3 children and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, Erskin Doss, and Violet Brasher Doss; his precious granddaughters, Alyssa Wiggins and Serenity Doss; his nephew, James Gunn.

Carl is survived by his sons, Steven Doss; Randy Doss; his daughter, Holly Wiggins (Jonathan); Grandchildren, Scarlett Doss; Braxton Wiggins; Keagen Doss; Kellan Doss; Noah Atkins; Brynlee Wiggins; Three sisters, Sheila Barnwell; Deborah Black; Linda Skinner; several beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation for friends will be Thursday, April 15, from 10:30-11:30, Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home, with service following in the chapel at 11:30. Interment will be at Liberty-Minter Cemetery.
