On Saturday, October 19, 2019, Faye Belew, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt passed away at the age of 75.

Faye was born on September 8, 1944 in Birmingham, Alabama to Elmer and Anna (Cochran) Calvert.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Anna Calvert; sister, Deloris McAdams; brothers, Jackie and Charlie Calvert; son, William Belew Jr.; and grandson, James Blake Lollar.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, William Belew; son, David Belew; daughter, Karen Lollar; and sister-in-law and best friend, Patty Calvert; as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.

She attended Warrior High School and she worked in a few industries before making her career at Parisian, where she worked for over 20 years. In 1969, she married the love of her life, William Belew. During their marriage, they watched their two sons and daughter grow and start families of their own.

Faye was avid fan of The University of Alabama.  She enjoyed watching racing and ALABAMA FOOTBALL.

She was blessed with a marriage for 50 years to a man she loved dearly and enjoyed having all of the family together to celebrate!

A visitation will be held for Faye at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 22, from 1:00pm- 2:00pm, with funeral service beginning at 2:00.
