Brenda Faye Ware, age 79, of Warrior, Ala. passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2025.

It is with profound sadness and deep loss that we announce the passing of Brenda Faye Ware, known best as 'Faye.' Faye was called home to be with the Lord on March 5, 2025, after a long life of love, grace and devotion. She was born on August 30, 1945, in Warrior, Alabama, and remained there for 79 years. Throughout her life, she was a shining example of faith, kindness and selflessness. Her unwavering faith carried her through life's joys and challenges. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion. Faye lived a life that reflected the teachings of Christ. She was an active member of Antioch Church of Christ. She had the ability to make everyone feel special, and her words of encouragement and prayers were a source of strength to all who knew her. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bessie Mickle, daughters; Darlene Ware, Mary Hubbard. Faye is survived by her husband Dewey Ware, daughter, Diana Ware, grandsons; Justin Oates (Melissa), Jeffrey Oates (Katie), Joshua Eddings (Peyton), Marlin Freeman, granddaughter, Jamie Mari (Tim), great grandchildren; Mason, Carter, Caleb, Dallas, Jackson, Tucker, and host of family and friends.

A visitation for Mrs. Ware will be held in the chapel of Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Saturday, March 8, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Immediately following the funeral service, all attendees who would like to attend the conclusion of Mrs. Ware's funeral rites should begin making their way to Mt. Zion Cemetery where we will reconvene graveside for a brief committal service just before interment.
