Forrest D. Goodwin, age 68, of Morris, Alabama, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020. Forrest was a retired fireman, and worked as a small engine mechanic. He was preceded in death by his father, William Joseph Goodwin; mother, Jacqueline Goodwin; wife, Mary Goodwin; and siblings, Raymon, Patricia, Marie, and Nancy. He is survived by his son, Christopher Goodwin; daughters, Leslie Dickinson and Jennifer Osbourne; grandchildren Joel, Justin and Caitlyn McCarn, Rachel and Jack Dickinson, and Samuel Goodwin; brothers, Jackie and Ricky Goodwin; and sister, Virginia Sutherland. A visitation for Mr. Goodwin will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 4, from 11:00am- 12:00pm, with funeral service beginning at 12:00am. Burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery.
