Frances Lee
Chappell

Hayden
Frances Chappell, 81, was a loving Christian mother who cherished her family and the time spent together. She found joy in gatherings, where her warmth and laughter filled the room. She had a deep love for the beach, where she found peace, and she was an avid reader who could often be found lost in a good book.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wayne Chappell, dad, Sumpter Hogan, mother, Nettie Hogan, brothers; James Lee Hogan, B.R. Hogan, Farris Hogan, sisters; Rosilee Hogan, Natilee (Junie) Lipsey, Virginia Hogan. She is survived by sister, Linda Derzis (George), son, Terry Chappell (Janet), daughter, Paula Phillips (Lou), daughter, Janet Weber (Baron), granddaughters; Lindsey Barefoot (Charles), Abigail Weber, grandsons; Benjamin Weber, Scott Thomas, great grandson; Logan Clark, great granddaughter; Madison Barefoot, and a host of family and friends.
She adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immense happiness into her life. Frances was incredibly creative and had a beautiful singing voice that she loved to share. She also had a passion for fishing and could cook like no other—her chicken dressing and potato salad were family favorites.
She attended Mt. View Church in Hayden and Frances lived her faith with love and grace. She was a strong-willed and passionate woman who deeply valued her beliefs and convictions.
Frances's love, kindness, and joyful spirit will be forever missed by those who knew and loved her.
