Frances Esther Horton, age 91, of Trafford, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Horton; daughter, Suzanne Robinson; son, Gary Horton; mother, Lida Flora Cato; father, Dewey Cato; brothers, Dewey Cato Jr., Edron Cato and J.D. Cato; and sister, Helen Thomas. She is survived by her son, Joseph Horton (Pam); daughter, Janet Willis (Pete); granddaughters, Leah Drain, Kelly Crow, Jessica Hatchett, and Megan Robinson; and grandsons, Michael Robinson, Josh Horton, Heath Horton, Jeffrey Willis, Cade Willis, and Zach Willis. A visitation for Mrs. Horton will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Saturday, December 14, from 10:00am- 11:00am, with funeral service beginning at 11:00am. Burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery.
