Gary Kendall Roberts, age 74, of County Line was born on May 26, 1946 and went to be with his Lord on Thursday, May 13, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Sara Roberts and his brother, Bill Roberts. Survivors include his sister, Jenise (Larry) Martin; son, Yancy (Sonya) Roberts; daughter, Jennifer (Cody) Zaleski; grandchildren, Kendall Roberts, Caleb Roberts, and Cody Zaleski; and a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Mr. Roberts worked as a machinist, welder, and heavy equipment operator. He was proud to be a Mason and a Shriner. He had varied interests and hobbies throughout his life including carving, woodworking, leathercraft, silversmithing, and gardening. He was known as having quite a way with words and a dry wit, always making people laugh.
A private memorial will be held by the family.
