Glenda Sue Smith, age 83, of Warrior, Alabama, passed away at Grandview Medical Center, Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Glenda was selfless, loving, caring, funny and friendly. She never met a stranger! She loved caring for family and friends. Always putting others before herself, Glenda truly loved everyone she met. Some of her favorite hobbies were cooking and dancing. Her most loved characteristics were her honesty and attitude about life. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Odis and Maynor Cleveland; loving husband, Henry Smith Jr.; and brother, Daniel Cleveland. She is survived by her children, Brian Smith (Sherry) and Kim Summers; grandchildren, Kris Smith (Shelby), Stephenie White, and Destiny Wrightson; 8 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nepehews - all of whom she loved and adored. A funeral service will be held at Trafford Baptist Church Saturday, December 17 at 2:00 p.m. there will be a visitation from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Pat Melvin will officiate.
