Grace Elizabeth McAnnally Hicks, age 83, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Nell McAnnally; and husband, John Hicks. Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Tommy Hicks, Jean Knight, and David Hicks (Eilene); grandchildren, Barbara, Robert, and Derrick; great-granddaughters, Grace and Aubrey; brother, Bill McAnnally; sister, Martha Melvin; sister-in-law, Sandra Corilla (Herman). To celebrate the life and homegoing of Grace, a visitation and funeral service will be held at Pinson Hopewell Baptist Church, on Monday, July 17, with the visitation from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and the funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the church's adjoining cemetery, Hopewell Baptist Cemetery.
