Oct 8, 1993 — Jun 16, 2024
Warrior
Halle Witcher Gross, age 30 of Hayden, Alabama passed away unexpectedly on

Birmingham and was the daughter of Doug Witcher and Dyanna McGary. She
married her husband, Brandon Gross on February 23, 2024.
She is survived by her husband, Brandon Gross of Hayden; stepson, Jonathan
Gross; mother, Dyanna McGary of Warrior; father, Doug Witcher of Mt. Olive,
maternal grandmother, Cissi Caton (Granny) of Gardendale; brother, Harry
Witcher of Morris; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in
death by her maternal grandfather, Alan McGary; maternal step-grandfather, Gray
Caton (PawPaw); and her paternal grandparents, B. J. Howard (PawPaw) Mary
Howard (Nana), cousins Amy Goggins and William Witcher and stepbrother,

Halle worked as a freight dispatcher at New Southern Wholesale and was

her sweet dog, Bailey. She was known for being an ally for the LGBTQ+
community and was an activist for Women's Rights. She was particularly proud of
being a volunteer escort at Planned Parenthood. Halle was a movie enthusiast,
with a special love for Disney and Harry Potter films. She and Brandon enjoyed
hiking and going to festivals.
Halle was always chasing her dreams. As a young adult, she took a break from
school to become a Cast Member at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Halle
had friends all over the world, and she loved them fiercely and unequivocally. She
will be sorely missed by those privileged to share her life and love, and there are
