Mr. James Clennon (Jimmy) Bradford, age 78, of Warrior, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Clennon Monroe and Evelyn Pauline (Myrick) Bradford and daughter, Christy Dawn Bradford. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joan (Blalock) Bradford; daughter, Robin (Brandon) Corbin; grandson, Joey Corbin; brothers Gary (Bobbie), Alan (Rhonda), Jerome (Mary); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who knew him as "Uncle Jimmy".

Jimmy deeply loved all of his family and enjoyed spending time with them as often as he could. He enjoyed the fellowship with his friends over the years and the countless cups of coffee they shared.

He retired from ABC Coke in Birmingham, Alabama with 34 years of service.

He loved his church family over the years and the Christian connection that he had with each one. He was also very dedicated to his Christian faith which was evident by the sermons that he preached, Sunday school classes that he taught, driving the church van on Sundays, changing the church sign weekly and his "31" years of service as the church clerk at Warrior Church of God.

Later in life, his daughter introduced him to cruise ships and the beach! He enjoyed their times as travel buddies and even included his brothers on some of his trips. He loved Alabama football and playing solitaire on his cellphone.

Visitation will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home in the chapel, Monday, January 29 from 12:00-1:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Cane Creek Cemetery directly following the service.
