James H.(Jimmy) Gipson age 76 of Mount Olive, Alabama passed away on October 25, 2023. He was preceded in the death of his parents, Harold and Marie Crigger Gipson. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gale Mayfield Gipson, his daughter, Kimberly Gipson Warren, grandson, Andrew Gipson Sawyer (his best buddy). His brother, Michael Gipson (Cindy) sister in law, Carolyn Mayfield Rhodes (late Billy Rhodes). Brother in law, Randy Mayfield (Susan). Four nieces, Lindsay Mayfield Jackson, Tena Rhodes Fleming, Renee Rhodes Dickinson, Christi Rhodes Martin (Keith), great nieces and nephews, and a lot of cousins and friends he loved very much. He worked at Stockham Valve and Fittings for 10 years and United Parcel Service for  25 years. Jimmy will be deeply missed.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Oakwood Cemetery (Gardendale, Alabama) beginning at 2:00 p.m.
